Song of Azrael Project News for Spring / Summer, 2008:

Glad tidings for the Muslim scholars who were offended by the Islamic portion of the "Azrael Chronicles" page, specifically, the Jewish and Christian reaction to the passage in the Quran (Surah 9:30). It has taken us a very long time to resolve this dispute to the satisfaction of all parties, but after shining so many different kinds of light upon the subject, I believe we have found agreement concerning the purpose of this passage. Kindly re-visit the Chronicles page and let me know if you find the new information acceptable.

The Azrael Chronicles ~ The Complete History of Azrael

For our Jewish scholars, we have included a Special Presentation: Jeremiah vs. the Jews in Egypt. This presentation was published to shed light on the fact that there is an agreement between the Jews and the Muslims on this point: God has no partner. We've also added a summary concerning the debate of Temurah 15b that we hope you'll enjoy. This was added to the Jewish portion of the "Azrael Chronicles" page.

Jeremiah vs. The Judeans in Egypt ~ The Asherah Files.

We would like take this opportunity to remind all of our viewers that we present the history, as it comes to us, because we enjoy this work. We're open to all forms of scholarly dispute and critiques. We would never have been able to produce this body of work without them! If you believe that information is missing or incorrectly presented, please don't hesitate to notify us.

Coming soon: A Song of Azrael Special Presentation: Azrael ~ The Gift of Name.

Song of Azrael Project News for Winter / Spring 2008:

We're back online... so just take a deep breath and relax! This was a silly system collapse (my bad... really) that became grounds for a much needed server upgrade. This new server is fantastic, but it will take me some time to work out because it has a ton of new toys! We're going to do more work on the Library - lots of stuff to add to that - and restructure some of the other sections. The History pages are up, the Hebrew lexicon is back... the rest will come in the fullness of time.

We have enjoyed our work and research, but the time has come for more effort and action. To that end, we're creating a "wish list" to let our viewers know what types of projects are on the table. Some are very time sensitive and require travel, while others are fairly routine... but none of them can be accomplishied without your help and support. You can now send a virtual gift to help support our efforts by clicking the link below. Any donation, no matter how small, will work wonders because we are a global community and have the power of numbers. All we ask is that you take a stand (and a moment of your time), to be counted among them.
