This section combines our old "Conflicts and Contradictions" page with our "Azrael Faqs" page and includes a host of other unique studies that we have conducted for the Song of Azrael. Some of the presentations, such as Azrael's Burial Tomb, are of historical interest to our viewers. Others, like "Who Are the Sons of God?" were created specifically to address a variety of religious disputes and misunderstandings. Some of the research offered here is very controversial, but these are also very controversial times we live in. We invite every religious scholar to challenge or otherwise participate in these presentations, regardless of sect or political influence, to fully explain the issues that are raised in every topic. We hope our readers enjoy these Special Presentations: |
Kaab al Ahbar and Qisas al Anbiya: As far as we can tell, the first document to name Azrael as the "Angel of Death" was written by Kaab al Ahbar, a Jewish convert to Islam, and his record was preserved in the Muslim book, Qisas al Anbiya (Tales of the Prophet). Kaab al Ahbar is also the subject of heated dispute between Sunni and Shia scholars, but what happens when you add the Jewish records and knowledge of the Hebrew language to this 1600 year old argument? Wow! |
Azrael's Burial Tomb: We discovered the location of this ancient tomb in al Uzayr, Iraq but we were forced to suspend the presentation due to the war. Once we had established communications, we decided the threat was imaginary and we released the publication, which can be viewed here. It is my most cherished wish to visit this tomb to provide more documentation and speak with the Sunni and Shia scholars concerning the issue of "raised graves" and how best to resolve the dispute. The lion's share of donations received will be applied to this very goal. |
Jeremiah and the Jews of Egypt: This is an much older dispute involving polytheism among the Sons of Abraham, namely the Jews of Egypt who offered cookies to Asherah on the Sabbath. The subject also takes it's place today between the Muslims, who declare that God has no partner. But we find that Jeremaiah raised several valid points in condemning the practices of the Jews in Egypt - ones that somehow went missed back in his own time. We take this opportunity to re-inspect the old complaint by adding a different dimension to it... the Book of Exodus. |
Azrael and The Gift of Name: There has been a lot of confusion surrounding the meaning of the name Azrael and of the acceptable western transliterations for it. No, Azrael is not Asrael, Azazel or Azael. This presentation is designed to explain, in simplified terms, the Hebrew grammar rules that are used, and to demonstrate how many mistakes were made from a lack of understanding in basic Hebrew. We will also address the scholarly mistakes that caused statements to be made claiming Azrael was named in a variety of material in which he isn't. |
Who Were The Sons of God?: This question has boggled the minds of scholars for ages and is part of yet another dispute between the sons of Abraham (Jews, Christians and Muslims). Some Christian and New Age groups suggest that the Sons of God were Angels who mated with human women but this story has become one more example of how mistranslations and personal agendas have re-shaped a perfectly ordinary record of the time into a work of pure fiction. On this page we'll re-examine these records and provide additional sources to explain the title, Bene Elohim (Sons of God), in the correct context it was used. Perhaps this will help end the current dispute or at least demonstrate why the argument should be approached with more care than it has been in the past. |
The State that is called... Israel: Everything happens for a reason and there is always an under-lying purpose. The Song of Azrael comes full circle by confronting what we have learned about who Azrael is and of his role in Jewish history. From Ezra, the scribe of Torah, the laws he wrote and the citations that were uncovered, we now ask the fated question. Is the new state really... Israel? |
